Preservation surveys of ruins and cultural properties
There are concerns that the Machu Picchu ruins could be significantly damaged by natural disasters and an increase in tourists. Therefore, Futaba Corporation is using its 3D surveying technology to not only preserve cultural assets, but also to conduct surveys that can be used for disaster prevention measures, etc.

Indonesia Coastal Conservation Plan
The northern coast of Java, Indonesia, is experiencing various coastal problems, such as coastal erosion and flooding caused by high waves. We are conducting on-site surveys using UAVs and developing coastal conservation plans that consider the harmony of coastal conservation, the environment, utilization, and development.

Master Plan Formulation Project (JICA)This project involves formulating basic policies, master plans, and facility development plans for coastal conservation in Indonesia's coastal areas. In coastal conservation, we create plans that take into account the three functions of protection, environment, and utilization.

Formulation of coastal conservation plan for Bali, Indonesia (JICA)

Mauritius Coastal Conservation Plan (JICA)
We conducted technical training on coral reef conservation and developed management methods using GIS to examine coastal erosion countermeasures and improve the capabilities of related organizations in Mauritius. (Photo shows technical training being given to staff from related organizations.)

Pilot Project for Gravel Nourishment for Coastal Disaster Response in Tuvalu (JICA)
We proposed the implementation of gravel beach nourishment as a short-term measure to combat the threat of submergence caused by global warming, and conducted surveys and designs for beach nourishment works. We are also transferring technology for various monitoring surveys, including surveying, to engineers from the Tuvaluan government. Coral Reef Environmental Impact Survey (JICA)
In order to use the waters around important ports in Madagascar as examples of environmentally friendly coral reefs, we conducted coral reef surveys and water quality surveys in the waters and created an environmentally friendly booklet.
