About FutabaCompany

Message from the CEOMassage from the President

More than ten years have passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake, and some people may feel that the disaster is a thing of the past. However, in the Futaba region where our head office is located, reconstruction is only halfway complete, and many challenges remain to be overcome. While the perspectives of "construction consulting" and "surveying and site investigation," which have been our founding businesses since our founding, are essential, the reality is that these alone are not enough to fully address reconstruction and revitalization.

To overcome this reality, we have repeatedly conducted demonstrations and experiments in various fields, cultivating a wide range of technologies and experience. In addition to the traditional techniques we have built up over the 53 years since our founding, we are integrating new technologies and services to resolve regional issues. In particular, we will further deepen the four pillars of our services that we launched after the earthquake disaster: spatial information consulting, environmental consulting, regional design (urban development), and overseas consulting, and work to realize a multi-pillar service.

Furthermore, this year, as a result of approximately 10 years of continuous efforts, a 3D survey of the Machu Picchu ruins in Peru has begun. This is the world's first survey conducted by a private company, and it marks a major step for our company. In addition, Tomioka Winery, which we have been supporting for many years, has opened in front of Tomioka Station, an area affected by the tsunami, providing a field for learning practical urban development.

This fiscal year marks the end of the second phase of the Reconstruction and Revitalization Program. As a company headquartered in Futaba County, we are devoting our efforts to the reconstruction and revitalization of the region by deepening the experience and technology we have cultivated to date. Drawing on the knowledge we have gained from the reconstruction process, we have established unique services and are venturing into new markets and fields. In this way, we hope to contribute, however small, to resolving social issues facing Japan's rural areas and the world. By valuing our past progress and each and every step we take, and strengthening internal collaboration, we will build the foundation for the social consulting role that Futaba aspires to be. By digging deep into this region, we will pave the way to a global connection and evolve into a "social consultant."

Company MissionCompany motto

First-come-first-served benefit, unfavorable trends, and deep cultivation of good trees

[Righteousness comes first, profit comes second] This phrase appears in the Chinese Confucian scholar Xunzi and means "those who put righteousness first and profit last will prosper."
In other words, if you prioritize human ethics and obligations over profits, profits will follow.

[Fuetsuryuko] Matsuo Basho's philosophy: Things that never change and things that keep changing.
While respecting the traditional essence, we will adopt new business fields and methods in line with the changing times.

[Deep plowing of good trees] In order to cultivate good human resources, good technology, and good companies, it is important to plow deep and cultivate rich soil.

Management PhilosophyManagement philosophy

1. We will always be conscious of and strive to grow in both our "technical capabilities" and "human capabilities," and will aim to become problem-solving professionals and social consultants by "broadening our perspective and enhancing our passion and inquisitiveness," thereby contributing to the creation of a sustainable and expansive society.

2. We will maintain sincerity and honesty, value the development of people who can be trusted and relied upon by society, and aim to become a company that is indispensable to the local community.

3. We aim to create a corporate culture in which we can deepen the bonds between our irreplaceable colleagues, support and nurture each other, and balance a comfortable working environment with a happy family environment.
