Impressions from the lecture
This week has been packed with lectures and speeches more than ever before. On the 27th, I gave a lecture at the Japan Institute of Professional Engineers in Fukushima City.

On the 29th, in Tomioka Town, we gave a tour of the Tomioka Winery vineyard and a lecture to the Japan Policy School and Suntory.
Lecture at the University of Aizu on November 1st
After returning to Japan, I gave five lectures in Hamanaka Aizu and Tokyo in the week following my return.
It was also an opportunity to reconsider the importance of caring for one's body and throat.
Yesterday, during a lecture at the University of Aizu, a student asked, "What does "reconstruction" mean in Fukushima?"
The word "reconstruction" is used by many people everywhere, but I wondered if the meaning of reconstruction and what we are aiming for are all heading in the same direction. I was unable to express my thoughts clearly in response to this question.
This is a unique region that has never experienced the combined natural disasters of earthquake and tsunami, as well as the nuclear accident, something that no other country in the world has ever experienced.
I wonder if what I'm aiming for now is truly global in scope.
What keywords will Fukushima send out to the world and spread throughout the world?
The questions I receive from the audience during my lectures are an opportunity to return to my original intentions immediately after the disaster.
How can you make the most of your past experiences?
I feel that we are now in an important time, not just in the immediate future, but in the distant future, when it comes to how we feel and think about Fukushima, Japan, and the world.
This was an opportunity for me to think that I want to place even more importance on an objective perspective and the intrinsic motivation of the local community.
