Training for new employees of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry at Futaba Head Office (November 10th)

On November 10th, a training session was held at Futaba Tomioka Head Office for approximately 40 prospective employees who will be joining the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in April of next year. I gave a lecture for about an hour, followed by a Q&A session. The questions came from a variety of angles, which made it a very meaningful opportunity for me to gain new insights. Afterwards, I also gave a tour of the wine vineyards in Obama. Everyone was interested in the scenery and the efforts we have made so far.
All of the successful candidates participating today are golden eggs that will carry the future of Japan. I hope that you will make use of your experiences in Fukushima in the future. The region and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry will be involved together for a long time. I hope that together we can pool our wisdom and passion to create a region that Japan and the world can be proud of.
