Message from the President in the Company Profile
3・11From that moment on, we have overcome many difficulties to become the "Futaba" we know today. The next day, we were forced out of our headquarters in Tomioka Town.1months later4・11We resumed operations in Koriyama City in 2018. We were extremely anxious about setting sail when all of our employees had been affected by the disaster or evacuated, and there was no prospect of them being able to return to their hometowns. From the time we resumed operations until today, the number of painful and disappointing experiences is too numerous to count, and we don't even have the time to remember them. But even more than that, we are grateful to our colleagues who offered advice, support, and a helping hand in difficult circumstances. We will never forget our gratitude to the many people who gave us courage and hope.
“"Because there is gratitude, there is a future"”
The reconstruction and revitalization of a region that has experienced a complex disaster unprecedented in the world, consisting of a natural disaster and a nuclear accident, requires long-term passion, determination, and innovation. As a community-based consultant, we must constantly consider "what will be needed and desired in the future," and through repeated trial and error, paint an attractive picture of the region's future. The experience and technology we have cultivated in Fukushima will eventually be needed in many regions and around the world. That's why, talking with our encouraging colleagues, we want to cherish each and every step, and steadily leave a legacy one by one.
“I have given up on giving up, so I have a firm resolve.”
For the future and future generations of my hometown, Fukushima, Japan and the world.
Never give up for the next generation.
President and CEO of Futaba Corporation
