Tomioka Wine Coverage on TV Fukushima (TUF) - Yoshida Koichi visits Hamadori
This morning, we were interviewed on television at the Tomioka Wine Farm. TUF "Fukushima Now: Recovering from the Disaster" is an information dissemination project that will apparently cover the recovery and future of the Hamadori region. The winery's activities in Tomioka were featured. Yoshida Koichi, who is active in both Taiwan and Japan, visited various parts of Hamadori with the aim of accurately conveying the "truth about Hamadori, Fukushima Prefecture" to Taiwan. The program will also be broadcast within Fukushima Prefecture.
Today, in addition to showcasing wines made in Tomioka, we also wanted to promote the pairing of wines with local cuisine, so we quickly needed to procure fish from off the coast of Tomioka, and with the cooperation of Captain Ishii of the Choei Maru, we were provided with a magnificent red sea bream. Furthermore, this morning, Master Matsuzaki of Wayan-ya kindly came all the way from Koriyama City to prepare the fresh red sea bream. We believe that everyone enjoyed the pairing of Tomioka wines with seafood, and we hope that they also experienced the potential of the region more broadly.
