New Tomioka head office building and new Koriyama branch office building opened (August 28th)

  8月28On the 20th, the opening ceremony for the new head office building was held in Tomioka Town. The morning before the ceremony, I reported the opening of the new headquarters in Tomioka to my father and ancestors at their graves. I thought about how happy my father would have been if he were still alive.

約6Returning to Tomioka for the first time in 1.5 years. The day after the Great East Japan Earthquake, the entire company was evacuated, and I was there right at the time of the earthquake.1months later4月11On the same day, the company moved its headquarters to Koriyama City and resumed business. At that time, half of the employees had already left the company. From then until today, I have experienced many things, and there have been times when I have cried until my eyes have dried up.

The materials used to build the company building are almost 100% cedar, cypress, and fir trees from Tomioka Town, planted by my ancestors.100The building was designed with the concept of "working in the forest." The goal was to provide a more comfortable working environment for employees who had previously struggled in a cramped office building.

We will now draw a new roadmap and move forward. We will never forget our gratitude for the support we have received from so many people, and all of our employees will do our utmost to bring back a place filled with smiles, even if only just a little. We appreciate your continued support.
