Talk show on the earthquake disaster and Kurobe Dam in Omachi, Nagano Prefecture

I was invited to Omachi City, Nagano Prefecture on August 24th and 25th to take part in a talk show to consider the future of Fukushima Prefecture following the earthquake and nuclear accident. During the two-hour talk, I spoke to many people about the current situation, challenges, and future possibilities of Fukushima.

The next day, an employee from Omachi city introduced me to Kurobe Dam. It's a sacred place for civil engineers. It was my first time visiting, and I was amazed and moved by its scale. The words in the museum - "people," "mission," and "passion" - will also be useful for the future reconstruction and revitalization of Futaba County.
