[Business trip to Peru] Full-scale start today

On the 17th, President Endo and two other employees departed for Peru to carry out a "High-Precision 3D Survey and Analysis Investigation for the Preservation of the Machu Picchu Ruins" project!
The holidays have ended and things are back in full swing from today.

On the first day, we visited the Ministry of Culture and Tourism (MINCU).

Attendees from the Ministry of Culture included:
・Director of Sector 4, Directorate General of Archaeological Heritage
・Counsellor to the Minister of Culture and Sports
・Cabinet Secretariat Counsellor・Archaeologist
・Cultural Properties Management Bureau
Four people attended the event.

During the one and a half hour meeting, they listened carefully to our explanation of the background and work involved in this survey, and thoroughly considered how to transfer 3D technology to preserve the Machu Picchu ruins.

In the afternoon, we visited the JICA Peru office.

We were able to confirm the significance of this project and discuss future prospects.
The JICA Peru office will accompany him on discussions and site visits to Cusco and Machu Picchu.

The project members will travel to Cusco tomorrow.
