The wine grape harvest has begun.

After the typhoon passed, we harvested grapes for wine under clear, sunny skies.
Around 40 volunteers from around the prefecture participated in the field, where the autumn sea breeze was pleasant, working up a sweat.
The best time to harvest is when the temperature is low in the morning, so we started work early in the morning.
Approximately 10 people from our company also participated.

The harvested grapes will also be brewed at Kawauchi Winery, which opened in June this year in Kawauchi Village.
It is expected to be completed around the beginning of the new year.

The harvest is apparently increasing every year, so I'm looking forward to the day when I can enjoy Tomioka wine up close.
The harvest was also covered in the Fukushima Minpo newspaper on the 20th.

This year's harvestSeptember 25th (Sat) and October 2nd (Sat)It will also be held in the future, so if you are interested, please come and join us.
