Accepting young leaders for inspection

On Saturday the 5th, approximately 30 members from Japan and abroad of a young leadership organization established by the World Economic Forum, which hosts the Davos Conference, visited our Tomioka headquarters.

This tour was apparently planned by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's Agency for Natural Resources and Energy to deepen understanding of the chaos that followed the nuclear accident and the subsequent efforts to rebuild. President Endo and others gave an introduction to our company's efforts to rebuild after the nuclear accident and showed us around the fields where we cultivate wine grapes, which we started in an effort to bring back vitality to the town.

During the inspection, in addition to our company, they also visited the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant and the Nuclear Disaster Memorial Museum.
