[CSR Activities] Tomioka Wine
Saturday, July 4th was the monthly Tomioka Wine Cultivation Activity Day. A total of about 40 people participated, coming from as far away as Tokyo. Seven employees from our company participated as part of our CSR activities. Work on this day included weeding the roots of the plants, which is difficult to reach with machines. Despite the bad weather, everyone was working up a good sweat. After the work, a tasting session was held, where participants enjoyed wine with local cuisine, including flounder caught in Tomioka. The tasting session was even featured in the newspaper.
Tomioka Wine's past efforts were also featured on Fukushima Chuo Television's [Goji Tere Chu!] on April 14th of this year, so please take a look.
