Futaba CSR_Tomioka Wine Support

June 13th was Tomioka Wine's general field management day. Despite the rain, about 30 people participated. We also had many volunteers from Tokyo, a first for a while. In addition, six employees of Futaba Co., Ltd. volunteered to help with the Tomioka wine project, which has now officially become a CSR activity. The main tasks were installing rain covers, installing wires, and weeding. Thanks to the large number of participants, including many veterans and highly resourceful individuals, the project progressed extremely smoothly. Afterward, we had the Tomioka Wine Domaine General Incorporated Association general meeting and a social gathering. We discussed commercializing wine in Tomioka, but there are many challenges, including initial investment and government support, and it will likely take some time to chart a course for the future. However, I believe that overcoming each of these challenges will deepen the meaning and depth of that plan, like the rings of a large tree. And with the precious friends who naturally come together, I believe we can overcome even the tallest obstacles. I hope to cherish the time I spend with the friends who have gathered from all over the world to participate in our wine project.
