This is my third business trip to Peru this year.
With Otani seeing me off, I will depart Haneda Airport for a business trip to Peru for approximately three weeks. This is my third trip to Peru this fiscal year. In July, detailed 3D measurements of the entire Machu Picchu ruins were completed. We have also seen some progress on undiscovered ruins in the surrounding forest, and we are also seeing the potential for 3D measurement analysis technology to be used in disaster prevention. This time, we will be taking our research even further.
The event is packed with discussions with the Vice Minister of Culture and other related organizations, research and consideration from various perspectives, and a rendezvous with Otamamura and his entourage at Machu Picchu.
Ten years ago, I began my research and investigation into the Machu Picchu ruins as a way of giving back to Otama Village. It was a valuable experience to continue without wavering on my purpose. I depart with gratitude for the support I have received from so many people.
