3D observations introduced in the November issue of Ookuma Public Relations
The November issue of Ookuma Public Relations introduced an initiative to carry out 3D surveying of Kumamachi Elementary School, which is located in an area where it is difficult to return.
This project involves using 3D laser scanning and UAVs (drones) to accurately capture the current state of the school's interior and exterior as 3D data. We believe this data will eventually be displayed at an archive facility or similar. This is an important survey that will help pass on the remains of the disaster to future generations.
