Second business trip to Peru this year
This is my second business trip to Peru this year. Full-scale research into the ruins of Machu Picchu (JICA project) is finally about to begin.
This time, we will procure drones (2 units), lasers (2 types), and five-lens cameras locally to carry out detailed measurements of the Machu Picchu ruins and to carry out conservation plans, disaster prevention and tourism plans, etc. We will also conduct a demonstration survey to discover ruins hidden in the forests surrounding the Machu Picchu ruins. This will be the first survey in the world by a private company.
We will be conducting research in an environment completely different from Japan. It will be a very difficult and demanding investigation, but the seven members of Futaba, including myself, will do our best. We also hope to use this opportunity to train Futaba's young and mid-career engineers. We also hope to become a bridge between Otama Village and Machu Picchu Village, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan, and Peru.
