Meeting with Governor Uchibori and commemorative photo

I visited the Fukushima Prefectural Government Office for some business and ended up greeting Governor Uchibori. I was allowed into the Governor's office and had a chance to talk. It was only about 10 minutes, but we had a great time talking about various things.
On the day of the earthquake, Governor Uchibori was Vice Governor. At around 9 p.m. on March 11, Vice Governor Uchibori suddenly appeared at Manabi no Mori, which served as Tomioka Town's disaster response headquarters. I will never forget the moment he held hands with my father, who was the town's mayor at the time. I was deeply moved when I learned that Tomioka Town was the Vice Governor's first visit. He took the time to rush to Tomioka Town from Fukushima City, despite roads being cut off everywhere. He later appeared at the teahouse where the townspeople were huddled together, and extended a hand to our family. I will continue to remember and remember that time, and I want to see it through to the end.
