Tomioka Winery - First day of grass laying

Today was volunteer day at Tomioka Winery, where we helped lay the grass in the wine garden.
Approximately 35,000 sods will be laid today and tomorrow.

Despite being busy at the end of the fiscal year, over 100 volunteers participated, and the second and third days of the event were completed. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all those who supported us. 40 students from Toride Daiichi High School in Ibaraki Prefecture also participated.

　　

Tomorrow, there will be about 10,000 pieces left, or one-third of the total. I hope to complete them with tomorrow's volunteers and share the joy.
Nine years have passed since the start, and the landscape of Tomioka Wine has taken shape.
