Departure to Indonesia
It's always a time to change my mindset and focus from Fukushima to the airport and then to boarding at the airport.
Fukushima's recovery is still only half-way complete, and I still can't really feel that my hometown of Futaba County has really made a start.
There was also an earthquake disaster in Hokuriku on New Year's Day and an airplane accident on the 2nd.
Given this, I have mixed feelings about leaving Japan.
But I told myself that in such a chaotic situation, it's important to step back and look at things objectively.
I think I have traveled with this feeling dozens of times since the earthquake.
I would like to do my best to make my experience in Fukushima useful to the world in some way.
I would also like to treasure the insights I gain from traveling to the countries I visit, and the impressions I get of Japan and Fukushima from an outsider's perspective.
