Coastal survey in Indonesia
The main focus of the visit was discussions with relevant agencies (four ministries) involved in coastal zone management, and field surveys were conducted over the weekend.

Indonesia's coastal areas face a variety of challenges, including coastal erosion, flooding, high waves, land subsidence, sea level rise, environmental degradation, and land use management issues, and the development of national guidelines and plans is also necessary.

Going forward, we will formulate Indonesia's basic coastal conservation policy, coastal conservation plans for Java, and coastal facility plans.

It is an extremely responsible job to create national guidelines and plans, but I would like to do my best in the time remaining until April next year.
I also hope to use my experience abroad to help revitalize Fukushima.
