Touring Tomioka Town with Prefectural Assemblyman Nagao (November 29th)

On November 29th, I guided Prefectural Assemblyman Nagao around Tomioka Town. Following the earthquake, Nagao provided daily support to the residents of Tomioka Town and Kawauchi Village after they evacuated to Big Palette Fukushima. Learning that this connection had been established through exchanges between Kawauchi Village and Assemblyman Nagao before the disaster, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the people of Kawauchi Village. Within Tomioka Town, we visited the sports facilities area, wine fields, the fishing port area, the tsunami-surviving storehouse and zelkova trees, Futaba Headquarters, Sakura Mall, and the Tomioka Archive Museum. During my tour, I felt the deep insight of every casual comment from Assemblyman Nagao, and it was an opportunity to gain many insights. Assemblyman Nagao's energetic involvement with the local residents allowed me to sense his perspective, which is not just words but also the result of his actions. On the way back from Tomioka to Koriyama, I enjoyed soba noodles at Tenzan in Kawauchi Village. It was delicious. Thank you very much.
