Visit to the disaster-stricken areas of Miyagi Prefecture - Okawa Elementary School, Ishinomaki City

Today, for the first time, I have seen areas affected by the tsunami outside of Fukushima Prefecture. So we were doing our best to deal with the situation within Fukushima Prefecture, and we were unable to look at other prefectures. The first place we visited was Okawa Elementary School in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture. 74108 people died, including 10 elementary school students. As a parent, I feel very sad.As an engineer, I wonder what could have been done to save as many people as possible. It was also an opportunity to see the future from a different perspective."We will pass on the experiences of the disaster-stricken areas to future generations and use them as lessons for the future."I would like to do that.
