Seminar in Mauritius successfully concluded
Today was a seminar to present the results of the Mauritius Coastal Conservation Plan, which I have been involved in for about three years. Approximately 70 people participated, including representatives of the Ministry of the Environment, related organizations, universities, and research institutes. I gave a 30-minute presentation (in English) on the coastal management plan, which I am in charge of. I am relieved to have successfully completed the presentation. However, I have a mountain of English and Japanese reports to write, so I will switch my mindset from tomorrow and work hard in the remaining week in Mauritius. After the seminar, I took a commemorative photo with the local and Japanese people who have been conducting research with me for the past three years.
