New Year's Greetings

Happy New Year. We look forward to your continued support this year.

The year 2020, the second year of Reiwa, has begun. This year, there was almost no snow even in the mountains during the New Year holidays, and it is clear that global warming is progressing rapidly. This year marks the year of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and many people from around the world will gather in Tokyo and throughout Japan. We hope that the great excitement and hope will resonate with many people and that it will be a great success.

2020 will also see significant changes in Futaba County, where our headquarters are located. On March 14th, the previously closed section of the JR Joban Line between Tomioka Station and Namie Station reopened, connecting Tokyo and Sendai for the first time in nine years. Until now, limited express trains had been suspended north of Iwaki, and the regular timetable was insufficient. However, with this reopening, the timetable will be significantly revised, allowing limited express trains to operate, improving commuter and student convenience. Furthermore, freight trains will resume service, significantly improving the flow of people and goods. In March, partial repatriation will be achieved in Futaba Town, marking the first time in nine years since the earthquake that all cities and towns have returned. Meanwhile, the scars of the damage caused by Typhoon Hagibis last November remain deep throughout the prefecture. My hometown, Futaba County, must quickly overcome the typhoon recovery and begin the recovery from the devastating earthquake, which has only just begun. In an area hit by multiple disasters—earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear accident—hard reconstruction efforts will eventually reach their limits.

ThatWe recognize that this is a region with many challenges, and our mission at Futaba is to help resolve these challenges.Furthermore, we will always be aware that each experience, knowledge, and technology that is resolved in this region will serve as a precedent for solving future problems in Japan and around the world. This is why this region is so important, and each and every initiative that we take in the future will attract attention both from within Japan and overseas.

“Futaba lost everything immediately after the earthquake and was forced into a difficult situation in which it was difficult to continue business. However, having experienced the loss of everything once, I believe that it has given us the strength to look forward and take action to create the future. Having come to understand the pain of people and the pain of the community, we understand the importance of turning things around in a positive way.

"The field starts from home and extends to the world"Our motto is,I want to solve local issues and become a "social consultant" that will be needed in the future.I believe so.

We are still a developing company, and we hope to receive your continued guidance in the future.

We sincerely hope that 2020 will be a peaceful and tranquil year.

Auspicious day of January 2020
