Lecture and panel discussion at the 2nd World Disaster Prevention Forum in Sendai

Today, November 12th, I participated in the 2nd World Disaster Prevention Forum at the International Center in Sendai City. In the afternoon, I gave a 90-minute Fukushima reconstruction session, and gave a lecture and panel discussion with Mr. Yasusu, Deputy Director General of the Fukushima Innovation Coast Organization. I introduced the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, the challenges facing the region, and the efforts being made by my company and the local community. Participants included people from both Japan and overseas. I hope that many people were able to understand the challenges and potential of Fukushima, and that this knowledge will be widely disseminated both domestically and internationally.
The day before yesterday I gave a training session for new employees from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (Futaba Headquarters), yesterday I gave a training session for executive candidates from a major company (J-village), and today I gave a lecture at the 2nd World Disaster Prevention Forum, making it three days in a row.
