President Endo speaks at the Fukushima Reconstruction and Future-Oriented Project Symposium (hosted by the Ministry of the Environment and the National Institute for Environmental Studies) on June 21st
On June 21st, we participated in the Fukushima Regeneration and Future-Oriented Project Symposium (sponsored by the Ministry of the Environment and the National Institute for Environmental Studies) held at the Washington Hotel in Iwaki City. Approximately 200 people from within and outside the prefecture attended. At the symposium, we presented our company's initiatives and urban development through wine as panelists. Afterwards, we held a panel discussion with seven people, discussing 1) current issues, 2) the direction we should aim for (industry), and 3) our expectations for the Fukushima Regeneration and Future-Oriented Project. The approximately two-hour panel discussion provided a variety of insights and was a very meaningful time.
In the afternoon of the following day, approximately 50 people came to the site for a tour of the Fukushima Regeneration and Future-Oriented Project Symposium hosted by the Ministry of the Environment to see the demonstration test of smart agriculture for wine cultivation and the cultivation of wine grapes. Commemorative photos were also taken from a drone.
