The Tomioka office building is nearing completion.
Our head office building is currently under construction in Tomioka Town. The building is nearly complete. The materials used inside and outside the building are cedar and cypress grown by our ancestors in the mountains of Tomioka Town. Some of the wood is over 100 years old. When you step inside, the smell of the wood is irresistible. Even before construction began, the concept for the building was to create an environment where people could work in the forest. Since the earthquake, our employees have been working hard in temporary buildings. We want our employees to be able to work in a comfortable environment. The Tomioka head office building and dormitory, and the Koriyama branch building are scheduled to open simultaneously on August 28th.
