Investigation of undiscovered ruins around Machu Picchu

Yesterday we investigated undiscovered ruins around the Machu Picchu ruins.

It's the start of the rainy season, so we're constantly keeping an eye on rain clouds as we conduct our survey using drones and laser equipment. Covered in forest, the area has steep terrain (maximum gradient of 80 degrees) unlike anything found in Japan, an altitude of over 2,200 meters, and a rapidly changing climate, so we're cultivating specialized know-how and techniques, such as conducting field surveys at various altitudes, routes, and combining equipment, as well as analyzing the data we obtain. Furthermore, we're gradually uncovering undiscovered ruins, and we're excited to see what the future holds.

Furthermore, we will consider ways to utilize the acquired data for various purposes in the future, and are also providing technical guidance and transferring the data to relevant organizations, including the Ministry of Culture of Peru.
