We conducted work experience (1 day/5 days)!

Our company will be holding the following events from September 2nd to 6th.
We implemented a 1-day and 5-day work experience program.
In this program, you will learn about the various tasks of a construction consultant.
They had the opportunity to experience the actual site.

Day 1: Start of the experience at the Koriyama branch (Students participating in the one-day program also participate)
The event began at the Koriyama branch with the president giving an overview of the company.
Afterwards, they experienced surveying using GNSS, and in the afternoon they worked with CIM.
Learn how work is actually done while experiencing the latest technology
I think it was a good opportunity.

Day 2: Surveying experience using a UAV!
On the second day, we had a surveying experience using a drone (UAV) at the Tomioka headquarters.
First, we received an explanation about surveying, and then we had a chance to actually operate it.
Although they were nervous, they enjoyed operating it.

Day 3: Design site visit and design practice
The third day began with a tour of the design site and then a design exercise.
I think that by having an experience that was close to practical work, you were able to get a more concrete image of the situation.
In the evening, we enjoyed a barbecue and interacted with employees.
We had a great time in a relaxed atmosphere.

Day 4: Visit to a town development site and group work
On the fourth day, the students visited a town development site and worked in groups to solve problems.
Afterwards, the DX Promotion Team gave an explanation of their work, and then they learned about how digital technology is being used. Everyone seemed interested in the futuristic content.
We also had the opportunity to hear from people working overseas about the challenges and joys of working overseas.

Day 5: Local History and Nature Tour
On the final day, the participants visited the Tomioka Town Archives and Decommissioning Museum, where they learned about the history and social issues of the region. They also toured a grape vineyard, where they had the opportunity to hear from Mr. Hosokawa of the Domaine about his hopes for the recovery of Tomioka Town through winemaking.
I think it was a valuable day where they were able to learn not only about work but also about the local area.

As a typhoon was approaching, we were worried whether the event could be held, but
In fact, we were blessed with good weather and the event went off without a hitch!
