Aiming for recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake - Resuming business and moving towards recovery, engineers in Futaba County, Fukushima Prefecture make a fresh start

Before the earthquake, our company was located in Tomioka Town, Futaba County, located almost in the center of Fukushima Prefecture's Pacific coast. Tomioka Town enjoys relatively long hours of sunshine and a warm climate compared to other areas in the Tohoku region, with only a few snowfalls between January and March. At the time of the earthquake, our company was located 160 km from the epicenter of the Great East Japan Earthquake and about 800 meters from the sea, yet the tsunami surged close to our building.
