Practical training for third-year students of the Faculty of Food and Agriculture, Fukushima University (1/18, 19) and lecture at Fukushima National College of Technology (1/21)

On January 18th and 19th, third-year students (first class) from the Faculty of Agriculture at Fukushima University undertook an internship at Tomioka Winery.

I also gave a lecture. I hope that the practical training and life in Tomioka will be an opportunity for students majoring in fruit trees to gain some insight.

On January 21st, I gave a 90-minute lecture at Fukushima National College of Technology. I spoke about "construction consultants" in an industrial technology class for students in all courses in the specialized course (third-year university). This year was my fourth time giving the lecture. At the first lecture, a student listened to my talk, became interested in construction consultants, started job hunting, and was actually hired by my former company. I later heard that our company was his second choice. I had mixed emotions.

This time, a young employee of our company who is an alumnus of Fukushima National College of Technology accompanied us and spoke to our juniors about his actual work and future goals. He spoke confidently and confidently, which was reassuring. It was a very valuable and meaningful time.
