Lecture at the Fukushima Reconstruction Bureau (July 20)

On July 20th, I gave a one-hour lecture at the Fukushima Reconstruction Bureau in Fukushima City in front of approximately 30 staff members from the Fukushima Reconstruction and Revitalization Study Group (Fukushima Reconstruction Bureau, Fukushima Environmental Reconstruction Office, Innovation Agency) and the Reconstruction Agency Headquarters (remotely). My lecture covered 1) our company's progress since the earthquake, 2) community development through winemaking, and 3) the challenges and possibilities of the areas affected by the nuclear disaster. Everyone listened attentively and asked many questions.

Also in attendance were three employees in their first or second year who graduated from university outside the prefecture and joined our Tomioka headquarters. At the end of the lecture, the members of the study group asked each of our employees to talk about their thoughts on joining Futaba Tomioka Head Office, and they each spoke. I was really pleased with their excellent answers.
