Cherry blossoms and the torch relay
Today, March 25th, marks the start of the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Torch Relay.

In Tomioka Town, where our head office is located, six runners carried the torch along a course of approximately 1.2 km from JR Tomioka Station to Tomioka Daiichi Junior High School. The road in front of our head office was also part of the course, and our staff came out to support the runners along the road.

Due to the influence of COVID-19, there were only a few people along the road,
The Somei-Yoshino cherry blossoms in Tomioka have also bloomed, adding a touch of elegance to the torch relay.
