Pacific Islands Leaders Meeting and our company

The Pacific Islands Leaders Meeting (PALM) began yesterday in Iwaki City. Seventeen Pacific island nations are participating, including Tuvalu and Fiji. I will be visiting Fiji and Tuvalu from tomorrow until June 12th. The two prime ministers are in Fukushima, and I hope that our company can contribute to disaster prevention efforts in these countries from Fukushima, and that we can utilize the experience and technology we have cultivated in Fukushima to some extent. I would like to help in any way I can in preserving the land of Tuvalu, an island that is said to be sinking due to the effects of climate change.
