External training for the in-house 5S committee

Today, eight members of our company's 5S committee participated in an off-site training session. The training site was Kyodo Printing in Koriyama City. Like our company, Kyodo Printing evacuated from Futaba County (Okuma Town) to Koriyama City after the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident and resumed business in the year of the disaster. President Suzuki gave a lecture, toured the company, and answered questions for approximately two and a half hours. From the lecture and factory tour, we could see that 5S activities have naturally taken root, thanks to the eight committee activities that have been ongoing for many years. We were reminded once again that visiting exemplary companies can lead to many realizations. We believe that this was a valuable opportunity for our employees as well. We would like to express our gratitude to our valued colleagues.
