Sand survey in Mauritius

We went offshore by boat to search for sand to fill areas of coastal erosion (beach nourishment). We found a large amount of high-quality coral-based sand. To determine whether it can be used for future maintenance, we need to understand Mauritius' systems and structures, as well as environmental impact assessments, in order to lead to a sustainable coastal maintenance system.
