Latest topographical survey

A 3D laser scanner was used to measure the shape of wave-dissipating blocks on breakwaters and levees, which are difficult for people to access. A GPS-equipped radio-controlled boat was also used to measure the depths of shallow waters where surveying vessels could not enter, and in sea areas and rivers dotted with obstacles. This enabled safe and efficient surveying of the current state of the disaster.
