Drone aerial photography of the "Kibou no Sakura" tree planting ceremony in Tomioka Town
The 'Kibo no Sakura' tree-planting ceremony was held at Magata No. 2 Park in Tomioka Town. At the request of the Tomioka Town Office, aerial photography of the tree-planting ceremony was conducted using a drone. 'Kibo no Sakura' is a regional project to plant seeds from a Mei Sakura (space cherry tree) that traveled through space for eight and a half months at the point where the tsunami reached in all cities, towns, and villages affected by the disaster. These seeds will serve as evacuation markers that will last for a thousand years, and as a symbol of recovery that can be seen from space, leaving them to future generations of this planet.
