Professional lecture in Kawauchi Village
Following on from last year, I gave a career talk at Kawauchi Village's elementary and junior high schools on January 18th. The talks were for fifth and sixth graders from 4:00 PM, and for junior high school students from 6:00 PM. The PowerPoint presentations I used for the elementary and junior high school students were about half different in content. For the elementary school students, I used visuals and riddles to make the talk easy to understand, while for the junior high school students, I spoke about the purpose and outline of my work and the importance of rebuilding and revitalizing my hometown. I expect that everyone will leave Kawauchi Village after graduating from junior high school. I hope that they will look at the outside world, always think of their hometown, and one day support their hometown from outside or return to revitalize their village. Children are the treasure of the region and the country.
