You are currently working away from home, but what made you decide to go to such lengths to join Futaba?
I want to grow my skills and career
My previous job was as a construction consultant, just like Futaba.
I decided to change jobs to Futaba because I felt it would be an opportunity to significantly develop the skills and career I had acquired up to that point.
I also deeply sympathized with Futaba's contributions to society and wanted to be a part of it myself.
What was your first impression of the company and what are your thoughts after actually working there?
A workplace where you can experience challenges and growth
My first impression of Futaba was that they were doing things differently from typical construction consultants, such as overseas consulting and contributing to the local community through a wine business. After actually working there, I felt that there were opportunities to take on new challenges based on my experience from my previous job, and that I could grow even more as an engineer.
How has your past experience been utilized in your work at our company?
Aiming to further improve technology
In my previous job, I was mainly involved in traditional surveying, UAVs, and 3D (new technologies).
Traditional surveying is about improving our technology, while UAV and 3D (new technology) are being utilized to measure better data based on our various experiences in work using the latest equipment in Fukushima Prefecture.
Is there anything you would like to achieve or challenge at our company?
Towards a company where young people can play a multifaceted role
Futaba is a company with many young employees. I personally want to support our young employees in their growth as engineers who can play an active role in a variety of fields, such as traditional surveying, UAVs, and the use of 3D data. My goal is to create an environment where each employee can not only develop their expertise and draw out their potential, but also acquire the flexibility to handle a wide range of tasks.
